Samudra Indah Beach in Singkawang City, West Kalimantan Province

This one is located in Karimunting Village and belongs to Raya Kepulauan Rive Sub-District. To be exact, it resides in the border between Bengkayang Regency and Singkawang City. For the information, it also has another name which is Omong Beach! This name derives from the Khek Language of Singkawang actually.
Speaking of great beaches of Singkawang City, Samudra Indah indeed has the uniqueness. For instance, it is the presence of a pile of limestone located by the shore. No wonder, those stones often become a background for photography. The next good thing is that the beach has a strategic location, which is bordering with the South China Sea. What about the nuance? It comes with a sloping landscape and white soft-textured sand. As for the length of the shoreline, it is about 5 km! From the beach, tourists can also see a beautiful hill clearly called Sejuk Hill.

Another allure in Samudra Indah Beach is the presence of Sejuk Hill located near to the shore. Not only tourists can take photos of the hill, but they can also explore it for a further merriment. How to Get There
From Singkawang City, tourists may spend about 2 hours and 44 minutes to get to Samudra Indah Beach. After all, the distance is 139 km. What they need to do is to head to Raya Kepulauan Sub-District right away. Lastly, they only need to reach Karimunting Village where the beach resides. Have no worries. There is no entrance fee to get in the beach.
